UBUD, kanalbali.id – KemBali Becik adakan kegiatan jalan-jalan berwawasan lingkungan bertajuk ‘Melali di Bali’ di akhir pekan tanggal 29-30 Juli 2023.

Setelah berkumpul di Ubud, perjalanan dimulai dengan menggunakan mobil listrik dan campervan yang dilengkapi dengan panel surya, sebagai salah satu unjuk keseriusan KemBali Becik dalam mendemonstrasikan cara-cara berlibur dengan lebih bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan.

Tujuan pertama adalah menikmati masakan tradisional Bali di Pengalaman Rasa, sebuah tujuan kuliner yang berada di dalam studio arsitektur ramah lingkungan bernama Rumah Intaran. Dari Pengalaman Rasa para peserta melanjutkan perjalanan ke Danau Beratan untuk melakukan perkemahan di tepi danau selama satu malam.

Sembari mengisi waktu luang, KemBali Becik menyiapkan board games bertema lingkungan untuk mengedukasi peserta tentang pentingnya kelestarian alam bagi kelangsungan hidup dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

“KemBali Becik memberikan pelajaran berharga, sebagai wisatawan kita dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan ekonomi dan mengurangi dampak negatif bagi lingkungan. Trip ini juga memberikan pemahaman yang mudah dicerna tentang aksi konservasi lingkungan melalui games yang sangat menarik,” kata Rivaldi Gani, salah satu peserta, saat ditanyakan kesannya tentang kegiatan ini.

Keesokannya, masih dengan menggunakan campervan dan mobil listrik, peserta menuju ke air terjun Banyu Wana Amertha sebelum kembali ke Ubud.

Melalui kegiatan ini KemBali Becik mengajak para wisatawan yang mencintai pulau Bali untuk ikut menjaga kelestariannya dengan lebih aktif mencari cara-cara untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan dari kegiatan pariwisata.

“Kami ingin menunjukkan bahwa berwisata sambil merawat bumi adalah sesuatu yang mungkin. Perjalanan ini menempuh jarak total lebih dari 180 kilometer menggunakan mobil listrik dan campervan yang dilengkapi dengan panel surya untuk meminimalisir emisi karbon. Selain itu, kami juga mempertimbangkan bagaimana bisa melibatkan komunitas lokal serta mengurangi dampak lingkungan di setiap tempat yang kami kunjungi dan aktivitas yang kami lakukan.” ujar Michelle Winowatan, Manajer Kampanye KemBali Becik.
