Wabup Sutjidra saat ditemui di Pelabuhan Buleleng sebagai titik kumpul kedua, usai mengawali perjalanan dengan kendaraan vespa dari Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) Taman Bung Karno Singaraja, Jumat (20/5) sore.
Harkitnas ke-114 kali ini juga dikatakan sebagai momentum untuk bangkit kembali menuju kehidupan seperti sedia kala. Seluruh kegiatan masyarakat sebagai upaya dalam pemulihan ekonomi mulai dilakukan secara perlahan. Dengan penuh kekeluargaan dan keceriaan pada acara tersebut, diharapkan mampu membangkitkan semangat dalam menjalani kehidupan saat ini.
“Saya lihat komunitas vespa ini sudah kompak sekali. Ada sekitar 500 anggota dalam komunitas vespa di Buleleng. Persatuan mereka ini kuat sekali. Acara ini juga untuk menyambut ajang komunitas vespa terbesar di dunia yakni Vespa World Day 2022 yang digelar pada Bulan Juni mendatang di Nusa Dua,” imbuh Sutjidra.
Selain komunitas vespa dari Buleleng, pada kesempatan ini juga dihadiri oleh komunitas vespa perwakilan dari Kabupaten Tabanan dan Badung. Salah satu anggota komunitas vespa asal Desa Perean, Kabupaten Tabanan Kadek Purna mengungkapkan rasa bahagianya bisa diberi kesempatan untuk bergabung bersama dengan komunitas vespa di Buleleng.
Acara yang digelar bertepatan dengan peringatan Harkitnas ke-114 ini dirasa sangat tepat dalam situasi bangkit dari pandemi. Sehingga diharapkan melalui acara ini dapat berlanjut ke ajang yang lebih besar lagi seperti yang sudah dilakukan sebelumnya.
“Saya hadir bersama dengan saudara satu hobi dari Kabupaten Badung juga. Berangkat dari Tabanan bersama-sama jam 11 siang tadi. Nanti ketika mengikuti gelaran Vespa World Day, saya akan menunggu saudara-saudara dari Buleleng di Desa Luwus untuk bersama-sama berangkat menuju Nusa Dua,” tutupnya. (kanalbali/RLS)
