KONON  khabarnya Enny Arrow lahir tahun 1943.Profesinya wartawan pada jaman penjajahan Jepang.

Pada tahun 1974 ia menulis novel pertamanya berjudul Senja merah dipelabuhan Jakarta. Tidak mencantumkan tahun terbit, riwayat penulis, hanya disebut penerbit Mawar.

Menurut sastrawan Abdullah Harahap, Enny Arrow nama aslinya Eny Sukaesih. Tapi sayang, sebelum dikonfirmasi Abdullah meninggal. Novel picisan karya Enny Arrow memang penuh misteri, mungkin ia sadar bahwa setiap saat dapat berurusan dengan polisi.

Bagi remaja tahun 1980an, sebagian pernah membaca novel Enny Arrow secara sembunyi sembunyi. Takut ketahuan orang tua atau guru disekolah.
