BADUNG, kanalbali.id – Indonesia kembali menjadi tuan forum pertemuan internasional Forum Indonesia-Afrika (IAF) ke-2 diselenggarakan pada tanggal 1-3 September 2024 di Bali. Mengutip dari situs resmi Kementerian Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia (Kemlu RI), tema Forum Indonesia-Afrika ke-2 tahun 2024 mengusung tema Bandung Spirit for Africa’s Agenda 2063.
Dalam mendukung terciptanya kondusifitas Kamtibmas menjelang pelaksanaan Forum Indonesia-Afrika (IAF) ke-2 Mabes Polri siap mengerahkan total 4.523 personel dalam rangka pengamanan kegiatan Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) ke-2 yang digelar bersamaan dengan High Level Forum Multi Stakeholders Partnership (HLF-MSP) 2024.
Dalam keterangannya Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen Sandi Nugroho menjelaskan pengamanan kegiatan internasional itu akan dilakukan lewat Operasi Puri Agung II yang digelar di Bali.
“Operasi Puri Agung II 2024 akan digelar pada 31 Agustus hingga 4 September 2024,” ujarnya dalam keterangan tertulis.
Dalam keterangan lanjutan Sandi Nugroho menyampaikan dari total personel yang dikerahkan sebanyak 1.459 personel berasal dari Mabes Polri. Lebih lanjut Sandi, ada 2.464 personel dari Polda Bali dan masing-masing 300 personel dari Polda Jawa Timur (Jatim) dan Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB).
Sandi Nugroho mengatakan pengerahan personel dari Polda Jatim dan Polda NTB dilakukan lantaran keduanya merupakan daerah penyangga dari Bali sebagai lokasi utama kegiatan. Jatim dan NTB daerah yang daerah penyangga yang memiliki konektivitas langsung
Sandi menambahkan nantinya pihak kepolisian juga akan bekerja sama dengan TNI, Paspampres hingga BNPT guna memastikan penyelenggaraan acara internasional tersebut.
“Polri mengamankan kedua event itu agar dapat berjalan aman, lancar dan situasi kondusif. Selain itu, Polri juga bertanggungjawab terhadap pemeliharaan kamtibmas Bali agar kondusif,” demikian disampaikan.
Forum ini akan berfokus pada isu terkait transformasi ekonomi, energi dan pertambangan, pangan, ketahanan kesehatan, dan kerja sama pembangunan. Tema tahun ini juga menekankan pentingnya semangat Konferensi Asia-Afrika (KAA) dalam menjawab berbagai tantangan global seperti konflik, penurunan ekonomi, hingga perubahan iklim. (kanalbali/RLS)
