DENPASAR – To starting this year, Mcast Pregina Showbiz invited several young artists in Bali to collaborate together, launching a new single and video clip entitled “New Hope From The Island of God.”
“This song contains all the new hopes regarding Bali, as the island of the Gods that must rise from the downturn of the Covid 19 pandemic in the coming years,” said songwriter Agung Bagus Mantra, Saturday (2/1/2021).
Song which was composed by Gde Kurniawan, is a dedication to Bali as the Island of the Gods. “This song collaborates with several artists and related artists who have the same voice and vision to jointly rebuild Bali in the midst of all its downturns since the pandemic hit this country,” said Bagus Mantra who is also the owner of Mcast Pregina Showbiz Bali.
Numbers of artists’s names appear in the song, which has a duration of nearly six minutes. They are a series of names that emerged as winners of the singer contest by the 2020 Denpasar Festival, namely; Dini Nugraha, Mitha Wulandari, Andik Taksu, Gung Indi, Gung Luna, Ayu Kharisma.
As the coach, Gek Rina is participated to coaching them while recording. Apart from that, there was also a list of names from the famous vocalist search event in Indonesia, The Voice Indonesia, who also collaborated and sang this song. They are Ava, Suci, and Gus Agung.
As if it never goes out, names of musicians who have been skilled in their fields also play their instruments to make this single even more colorful. They are Agung Bagus Mantra who fills the drums; Krisna who fills the guitar; and Yudha Pranata who filled the Flute and also a number of other musicians such as Gus Ndoet and Small Ax.

Not only musicians, a number of other artists who work through other media such as masks and dance have also decorated this song and video clip, namely Mantram, Sidhakarya and Arsa Wijaya.
In the video clip directed by Agung Bagus Mantra, several locations have high tourism potential in Bali were included. They are Sanur Beach, Bukit Ser Pemuteran, Pregine Studio, Chess Muka Statue 0 km, Denpasar city, Taksu Stage DNA Alaya Bali, and Karang Lestari Pemuteran.
The song and video clip of New Hope from The Island of God has uploaded at the beginning of January 1, 2021 and can be enjoyed together by all music lovers on YouTube channels and other digital media.
