JEMBRANA, kanalbali.id – Ikatan Jurnalis Televisi Indonesia (IJTI) Bali bersama Aliansi Jurnalis Independen (AJI) Denpasar menyalurkan bantuan sosial ke dua titik lokasi yang terdampak bencana alam di Kabupaten Jembrana, Minggu 23 Oktober 2022. Diharapkan, bansos tersebut tepat sasaran dan bisa berguna bagi masyarakat terdampak.
Dua lokasi yang disasar adalah Posko Pengungsian di Balai Tempek Kerta Sari, Lingkungan Bilukpoh Kangin, Kelurahan Tegal Cangkring, Kecamatan Mendoyo dan Lingkungan Pangkung Gondang, Kelurahan Sangkaragung, Kecamatan Jembrana.

Di dua lokasi ini, IJTI Bali dan AJI Denpasar menyalurkan sejumlah bantuan mulai dari sembako, alat dapur, vitamin, susu, alat tulis sekolah, pakaian sekolah, hingga pakaian layak pakai.
Adapun Ketua IJTI Bali, Ananda Bagus Satria mewakili AJI Denpasar dan jurnalis seluruh Bali mengakui bahwa dampak banjir bandang ini sangat besar.
“Kami sebagai jurnalis tidak hanya meliput saja tapi kami juga turut berduka dan memberikan bantuan bagi korban yang terdampak. Kami melihat ada banyak kerusakan di sini, barang-barang warga pun ikut hanyut terbawa arus banjir, ” ujarnya.
Mewakili jurnalis, Bagus mengucapkan terima kasih kasih kepada para donatur yang telah berpartisipasi memberikan bantuan berupa kebutuhan warga diantaranya baju layak pakai, sembako, alat masak dan keperluan sekolah anak.
Sementara itu, Kepala Lingkungan Bilukpoh Kangin, I Komang Suabawa juga berterima kasih atas bantuan yang disalurkan oleh IJTI Bali dan AJI Denpasar. Bantuan sosial tersebut tentunya sangat bermanfaat, terutama untuk anak-anak.
“Untuk sekarang, kebutuhan pokok seperti sembako masih cukup hingga 2 pekan ke depan. Tentunya bantuan dari kawan-kawan organisasi wartawan ini sangat membantu, karena sangat dibutuhkan saat ini,” kata Suabawa di lokasi.
Harapannya warga yang terdampak terus mendapat perhatian baik dari pemerintah maupun relawan yang ada saat ini. Sebab, yang menjadi kekhawatiran kedepan adalah soal recovery (pemulihan) pasca bencana.
“Semoga nanti ada yang tetap membantu kami. Karena masa recovery atau pemulihan ini juga sangat berat,” harapnya.
Terpisah, Kepala Lingkungan Pangkung Gondang, Komang Sudiasa mengatakan, bantuan sosial yang diberikan tentunya sangat membantu. Sebab, kebutuhan saat ini adalah masih kepada makanan pokok.
“Saat ini korban terdampak masih fokus untuk pembersihan rumahnya masing-masing. Karena kondisinya menang sangat parah,” jelasnya.
Dia menuturkan, ini merupakan kejadian yang kedua kalinya. Yakni tahun 1998 dan 2022. Namun kejadian belabar agung (air bah besar) yang terjadi pada 1998 tidak terlalu terdampak karena belum ada kawasan perumahan. Syukurnya tidak ada korban jiwa dalam bencana alam ini.
