Memanfaatkan Digital Marketing untuk Memperkuat Brand Lokal

DIGITALISASI  telah merambah ke dunia perdagangan, dengan munculnya penjual yang mulai memasarkan produknya melalui platform digital, seperti market place. Tak terkecuali bagi penjual produk dalam negeri atau produk lokal yang semakin memanfaatkan media digital sebagai tempat promosi.

Tino Thorik, Penggiat Sosial Media, dalam Webinar di wilayah Kota Kupang, NTT, Jumat (25/6/2021), mengklaim bahwa konsumen menyukai produk lokal yang dipromosikan dengan baik. Alasannya, karena konsumen merasa lebih dekat dengan produk tersebut. Menurut data, sudah sebanyak 12 juta UMKM yang menggunakan sistem berjualan secara online dengan memanfaatkan beragam platform internet yang ada.

“Digital marketing itu merupakan sebuah sistem dalam promosi brand lokal. Di dalamnya terdapat konten dan penyebaran yang tidak dapat dipisahkan,’” KATANYA

Manfaat apabila penjual menerapkan sistem marketing yang baik, memungkinkan pembeli dengan mudah mengenali dan menemukan produk yang dijual. Selain itu, penjual juga bisa menerapkan sistem di mana penjual yang menghampiri pembeli melalui digital marketing.

Sebaliknya, dalam meraih hal tersebut, ada beberapa tantangan dalam digital marketing. Di antaranya, persaingan dengan sesama brand lokal, mengarahkan pembeli atau target pasar, dan meningkatkan pemasukan. Tino memaparkan solusi untuk menghadapi tantangan sebelumnya, seperti membuat website, optimization (SEO), mendaftar di market place, brand harus memiliki nilai jual, promo/diskon, mengelola media sosial sebagai sarana promosi dan pengenalan.

“Website dalam bentuk e-commerce itu tetap  merupakan pilihan terbaik dengan berbagai kelebihan. Kelebihannya kita secara bebas bisa mengubah apa yang kita inginkan dalam website kita, seperti tampilan logo, warna, atau produk,” tutur Tino.

Lanjut Tino, saat ingin menjual barang/produk, seorang penjual harus mengetahui nilai jual atau keunikan produknya. Bisa berupa packaging, inovasi, eksklusifitas, dan sebagainya yang menarik pembeli. Jika suatu produk tidak memiliki nilai jual yang berbeda dengan kompetitor, maka sedikit kemungkinan pembeli akan mempertimbangkan untuk membeli produk tersebut.

Selain itu, terdapat upaya non-teknis dalam menghadapi tantangan berjualan bagi brand lokal. Upaya tersebut ialah bekerja sama dengan influencer, membuat program kepedulian masyarakat, dan Whatsapp.

Menurut fakta yang dipaparkan Tino, 89% bisnis mendapatkan return of investment (ROI) atau dikenal dengan balik modal lebih baik saat bekerja sama dengan influencer. Namun, tetap harus bijak dalam memilih influencer dalam artian influencer memiliki reputasi yang baik, memperhatikan tingkat engagement yang tinggi, dan konten positif.
