16 Jenazah Terlantar di RSUP Prof Ngoerah Dikremasi, 3 Diantaranya WNA

DENPASAR, kanalbali.id  – 16 jenazah terlantar atau tidak diketahui identitasnya dan ada jenazah yang sudah tersimpan sejak tahun 2021. Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (RSUP) Prof dr I GNG Ngoerah atau Sanglah Denpasar akhirnya memeutuskan melakukan kremasi.

Kremasi dilakukan di Taman Krematorium Mumbul, Kecamatan Kuta Selatan, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, yang dilakukan sejak Rabu (4/10) hingga Kamis (5/10) esok.

“Mereka tidak memperoleh pengakuan dari keluarga maupun dari institusi yang terkait sehingga diserahkan kepada kami RSUP Prof Ngoerah untuk dilaksanakan kremasi secara massal pada dua hari ini,” kata Direktur Layanan Operasional RSUP Prof Ngoerah dr. I Gusti Lanang Suartana Putra.

Jenazah terlantar termasuk tiga Warga Negara Asing (WNA), yaitu dua jenazah berasal dari Australia dan satu jenazah dari Jerman.

Jenazah terlama tersimpan sejak tahun 2021 dan jenazah terbaru sejak tahun 2022. Sementara, untuk biaya pembebasan perawatan dan penitipan jenazah di RSUP Prof Ngoerah sebesar Rp 2.386.276.800.

“Pada Kremasi tahun ini, ada tambahan jenazah dari RSUP Bali Mandara sebanyak satu jenazah yaitu WNA Jerman. Jadi total jenazah yang dikremasi pada tahun ini sebanyak 16 jenazah,” ujarnya.

“Setelah melalui proses yang sangat panjang, menelusuri keberadaan pengakuan dari keluarga ataupun kedutaan atau yang terkait yang seharusnya bisa diserahkan, pada akhirnya kami memperoleh kejelasan secara hukum dan secara keluarga, bahwa memang tidak ada yang mengakui dan ini di kategorikan sebagai terlantar dan sehingga diambil ahli sebagai kremasi yang dilakukan secara massal oleh RSUP Ngoerah,” ujar Lanang.
