
BADUNG – A Danish tourist named Jan Jonas Yakari Colom Gudman Hoyer (30) who made camp for 12 days in the Kuta Beach area, Bali, has been deported to his home country by Bali Immigration officers.
Putu Suhendra as Head of Facilities and Communication of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Class I Office explained that the tourist was deported at his own expense and departed last Friday (7/2), around 20.55 WITA using Aeroflot.

Suhendra also said that the tourist still claimed not to do public order by setting up camp in the Kuta Beach area, Bali. “Just said, it did not interfere with public order, and on that beach there was also no prohibition on camping. After being explained, he finally understood that there are rules that are prohibited from camping along Kuta Beach, ”Suhendra said
“Based on a letter from Satpol PP that the related person violated public order and the results of the Immigration examination in question were returned the same day,”Suhendra said when contacted on Tuesday (11/2). “Yes, at their own expense, the state does not have the budget to repatriate (problematic) foreign citizens,” he added.

Head of the Badung Regency Satpol PP I Gusti Agung Ketut Suryanegara when contacted last Friday (7/1). He explained, Caucasians were known to make camp at Kuta Beach because of reports from the coast guard or local security, on Thursday (6/2) yesterday. Then, the clerk immediately checked the location, it turned out that there was no Caucasians.
“Yesterday afternoon we checked the camping site but there were no guests and we waited until night and finally we checked there finally found the Caucasian sleeping,” he said. “We woke up and we explained that this beach should not (camp) because public beach.
