DENPASAR, kanalbali.id– Ada kabar baik bagi pariwisata Bali yang tengah berusaha bangkit setelah 2 tahun terakhir ambruk gara-gara pandemi. PT Oriental Indrakila Persada (OIP) akan segera merealisasikan rencana pembangunan resort dan lapangan golf serta taman wisata berstandar internasional di Karangasem, Bali.

“Nilai investasi yang akan masuk di wilayah Karangasem hingga kurun waktu tahun 2027 mendatang akan mencapai Rp 27 triliun,” kata Presiden Direktur PT Oriental Indrakila Persada (OIP) Indra Moelyono, Sabtu (5/3/2022) malam, di sela perayaan HUT perusahaan itu.

Ia menyampaikan, rencananya ground breaking akan dilakukan pada April 2022 mendatang. Untuk mengawali proyek ini, akan dibangun dulu ‘supporting area’ seperti lahan parkir dengan kapasitas 4.400  dan 100 bus serta hotel.

“Setelah ini terbangun barulah secara bertahap kita bangun fasilitas lainnya dan kita harapkan pada awal tahun 2024 supporting area sudah selesai sepenuhnya,” katanya yang mengaku menggandeng investor dari luar negeri untuk merealisasikan proyek ini. Sekitar 3.000 tenaga kerja akan diserap dalam megaproyek ini.

Sementara itu, Pemerintah Kabupaten Karangasem memberikan dukungan terhadap investasi tersebut. “Kita akan support investasi di Karangasem selama tidak bertentangan dengan aturan,” kata Wakil Bupati Karangasem, I Wayan Artha Dipa.

Investasi diyakini akan membantu pengembangan daerah Karangasem dan membuka lapangan kerja di sektor pariwisata. Menurutnya, masih banyak potensi wisata di Karangasem yang belum berkembang dan adanya proyek ini nanti diharapkan akan memicu perkembangan potensi itu.

“Karangasem sangat cocok untuk investasi pariwisata. Apalagi dengan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dan budaya yang sangat khas,” katanya. (kanalbali/RFH)
