DENPASAR, kanalbali.id – Get Plastic, sebuah lembaga independen yang bergerak dalam penyelamatan lingkungan, bakal menggelar konser musik Get The Fest Tour di Bali, 16 Oktober mendatang. Menariknya, gelaran konser itu akan menggunakan sampah plastik sebagai bahan bakar utama selama acara berlangsung.

Dimas Bagus Wijanarko, Founder Get Plastic menerangkan, organisasi itu telah berhasil menciptakan inovasi menyulap plastik menjadi bahan bakar minyak atau BBM dengan kualitas setara dengan BBM dari fosil. “Pemakaian janset, lightning listrik dan lain-lain akan menggunakan BBM yang berasal dari sampah plastik,” ungkapnya, Kamis (13/10).

Pirolisis adalah istilah teknologi yang digunakan untuk merubah sampah plastik menjadi BBM. Dimas menyebut, Get Plastic memiliki sejumlah mesin pirolisis yang dapat mengkonversi 1 kilogram sampah menjadi 1 liter Solar. Meski harga produksi yang murah yakni Rp 4 ribu rupiah per liter BBM sampah plastik, ia mengaku belum bisa menjual bahan bakar inovatif ini di pasar bebas.

“Kita mengolah sampah plastik didapat dari banyak tempat seperti rumah tangga, UMKM, jadi kalau ada warga yang akan menyumbangkan sampah kita persilahkan,” tambahnya.

Sementara itu, Antida Music Production akan mengorganisir gelaran konser yang bertempat di Njana Tilem Museum, Ubud.

“Saya sangat antusias terhadap acara ini, ini adalah kali pertama saya terlibat konser dengan energi sampah plastik, cukup menjadi tantangan juga saat kami berusaha meyakinkan penyewaan jenset, bahwa menggunakan BBM hasil sampah plastik ini aman,” ungkap Anom Darsana dari Antida Music Production.

Meski demikian, BBM hasil dari sampah plastik bisa jadi solusi ditengah mahalnya harga BBM konvensional, dan permasalahan sampah plastik yang kian menggunung. Dimas menyebut, BBM sampah plastik yang ia hasilkan telah teruji oleh beberapa pihak, salah satunya Pertamina.

“Kami mendapat dukungan dari Pertamina, Kami harap ini bisa jadi solusi untuk menyelesaikan masalah volume sampah plastik di TPA yang ada, sehingga tidak ada tambahan TPA lagi,” ungkapnya.

Dijelaskan oleh Dimas, sebelumnya Get The Fest telah berlangsung di beberapa kota di Indonesia, yakni Bogor dan Madiun. Bali menjadi pemberhentian terakhir konser ini. Selama itu pula ia melakukan tour dari Bogor hingga Denpasar menggunakan BBM hasil sampah plastik.

Beberapa musisi ternama yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap lingkungan akan bercokol dalam konser 16 Oktober mendatang. Diantaranya Navicula, Jason Ranti, Iksan Skuter, Oppie Andaresta, Nugie, Cozy Republik, Made Mawut, Ipank Hore-hore, Mad Maden, Rythm Rebels, Koesblindo dan taman Sawangan Ukulele. (Kanalbali/WIB)
