 Showcases the Great Potential of the Fashion, Textile and Creative Industries

CANGGU,  kanalbali.id – The first season of Bohemia Fashion Week will be held for 2 days at Morabito Art Villa on March 23-24, 2024. The event not only features a fashion show but also serves as a strategic platform to unlock the great potential of this region in the fields of business, fashion, textiles, and the creative industry.

In addition to showcasing current fashion trends, the event also serves as a business platform for networking and collaboration. The event will be enlivened by local designers from Bali, Indonesia, and several other countries, including Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kalmykia, Lebanon, and Armenia.

According to Taisia Berdysheva, Founder of Bohemia Fashion Week, the event is also a manifestation of efforts to preserve Balinese culture.

“This event also connects entrepreneurs, artists, designers, and lovers of fashion, textiles, and the creative industry. This project aims to stimulate economic growth in Bali,” she said.

She added that the event allows local entrepreneurs to collaborate internationally, foster dialogue with colleagues worldwide, and build international collaborations and partnerships.

“We hope this event can make Bali a prime destination for investment in fashion, textiles, and the creative industry, which will contribute significantly to overall economic development,” she added.

The event also features a workshop and eco-friendly movement from Russia, emphasizing an environmentally conscious approach. “We expect the participation of around 50 designers with their own production facilities,” she explained.

During the fashion show, there is also a special eco-performance from the brand Ottenok, a designer who pays attention to the vital theme of environmental protection. The collection presented by the models was made from used plastic bags and packaging.

The event targets 600 has invited guests and involves the participation of the local community. This includes Balinese modeling agencies and several expatriates with work permits.

“We believe that it is important to maximize the involvement of local professionals, ensuring that the funds invested in the event contribute not only to promoting this beautiful island but also to the sustainable economic growth of the local community,” she explained further.

Bohemia Fashion Week in Bali 2024 has the potential to be a catalyst for positive change, driving economic growth, cultural preservation, and international collaboration.

The choice of Morabito Art Villa as the event venue was also based on the beautiful and unique blend of Balinese culture and international elegance. The property, designed by French visionary Pascal Morabito, is located on the beach and offers the natural beauty of Bali that embodies the spirit of innovation and cultural harmony.
