Terima Rekomendasi LKPJ 2024, Bupati Sutjidra: IPM Jadi Program Kerja Lima Tahun Kedepan

BULELENG, kanalbali.id – Bupati Buleleng I Nyoman Sutjidra menerima rekomendasi DPRD atas Laporan Keterangan Pertanggungjawaban (LKPJ) Bupati tahun 2024, Senin (21/4).
Dalam rekomendasi tersebut, salah satu masukan yang diberikan oleh DPRD yakni Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) khususnya rata-rata lama sekolah penduduk yang lebih kecil dibandingan capaian Provinsi Bali.

Dalam rekomendasi yang disampaikan oleh anggota DPRD sekaligus juru bicara Wayan Masdana, IPM Kabupaten Buleleng tahun 2024 secara konsisten dapat mempertahankan capaian tahun sebelumnya pada kategori tinggi sebesar 74,52.

Namun secara agregat komponen rata-rata lama sekolah penduduk umur 25 tahun keatas sebesar 7,69 tahun masih jauh tertinggal dibandingkan capaian Provinsi Bali sebesar 9,45 tahun maupun nasional sebesar 8,85 tahun.

Atas hal itu, Bupati Buleleng I Nyoman Sutjidra telah melakukan kajian baik untuk program jangka panjang maupun pendek. Ia menegaskan jika IPM dan Kemiskinan memang menjadi program prioritasnya lima tahun kedepan.

“Kita terus berbenah untuk itu, bagaimana program bisa langsung menukik dan sesuai dengan kondisi masing-masing wilayah di kabupaten Buleleng,”ujarnya.

Bupati Sutjidra menambahkan masalah pendidikan saat ini masih krusial, khususnya rata-rata lama sekolah. Untuk itu pihaknya akan melakukan assesmen dengan menurunkan berbagai pihak untuk menghasilkan program jangka pendek. Salah satu opsinya adalah membuat pendidikan penyetaraan dan menambah jam pelajaran.

“Dalam jangka pendek ini kita akan buat seperti program penyetaraan di masing-masing kecamatan. Disamping pendidikan tambahan yang akan dilakukan di hari sabtu dan minggu. Itu yang bisa kami lakukan demi mencegah potensi putus sekolah,”tutupnya.

Sidang paripurna dengan agenda penyampaian rekomendasi DPRD atas LKPJ Bupati tahun 2024 juga dihadiri 32 anggota DPRD, pimpinan perangkat daerah, camat, serta Staf Ahli DPRD Buleleng. (kanalbali/RLS)
