DENPASAR, kanalbali.id – Pertandingan sepakbola babak semifinal antara Timnas Indonesia U23 malam ini di Doha, Qatar (Senin, 29 April 2024, Pkl 22..00) melawan Uzbekistan ternyata mendapat perhatian juga dari Rektor ITB STIKOM Bali, Dr. Dadang Hermawan.
Apalagi dalam Timnas Indonesia U23 ini ada putra Bali yaitu Komang Teguh Trisnanda.
“Jika Timnas Indonesia U23 bisa tembus babak final Piala Asia. Saya akan berikan beasiswa S1 full untuk Komang Teguh. Kalau dia sudah S1, saya akan berikan beasiswa full juga untuk S2,” kata Dadang Hermawan di kampus ITB STIKOM Bali, Renon, Denpasar, Senin, 29 April 2024 usai acara penandatanganan MoU dengan 40 media online dan pemberian beasiswa kepada keluarga wartawan media online.
Menurut Dadang Hermawan, pemberian beasiswa full kepada Komang Teguh ini sebangai bentuk penghargaan dari ITB STIKOM Bali atas perjuangan seorang putra Bali, Komang Teguh, dan kawan-kawannya di Piala Asia U23 ini.
“Seingat saya kita belum pernah masuk final Piala Asia, apalagi kalau juara dapat tiket ke Olimpiade Paris 2024 nanti. Ini sangat membanggakan bangsa dan negara,” kata Dadang Hermawan.
Terpisah, ayahanda Komang Teguh Trisnanda yaitu I Nyoman Merta Jiwa yang diminta tanggapannya atas tawaran beasiswa untuk anaknya dari Rektor ITB STIKOM Bali tersebut mengaku sangat senang dan berterima kasih kepada ITB STIKOM Bali.
“Saya sebagai orangtua sangat mengapresiasi atas perhatian dari rektor ITB STIkOM Bali ini. Saya akan sampaikan kepada Komang. Kebetulan di Kalimantan (Borneo FC-red, Komang sedang kuliah semester 6 di STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma Samarinda, jadi kalau dia mau kuliah lagi, bisa ambil S2 di STIKOM Bali, sebagai orangtua saya yakin dia mau, dan pasti kami dukung karena tawaran ini sangat bagus untuk masa depannya,” kata Merta Jiwa yang dihubungi pertelepon selularnya malam ini.
“Ya kita doakan semoga malam nanti Komang dan kawan-kawan bisa menang lawan Uzbekistan dan melaju ke fnal,” pungkasnya. ( kanalbali/RLS )
