BADUNG , KANALBALI.ID – Kunjungan wisatawan domestik maupun turis asing ke destinasi wisata budaya, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) di Kecamatan Kuta Selatan, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Bali, semakin meningkat pasca Pandemi Covid-19.

Direktur Operasional GWK Cultural Park Stefanus Yonathan Astayasa mengatakan, bahwa saat awal-awal buka pasca Pandemi Covid-19 kunjungan ke GWK hanya dibawah seribu wisatawan per hari.

Kemudian, secara bertahap mencapai 3 ribu wisatawan per hari di tahun 2022 dan di tahun 2024 mencapai 4 ribu wisatawan per hari.

“Ketika awal buka (GWK) pasca pandemi itu dibawa seribu per hari (kunjungan wisatawan), kita melangkah naik sampai di angka 3 ribu di akhir tahun 2022. Kunjungan wisatawan di tahun 2022 itu sudah mulai tumbuh. Jadi angka visitor-nya di 3 ribuan per hari. Kemudian bersyukur, peningkatan setiap tahun kurang lebih 20 persen dan itu stabil sampai di tahun 2024 ini sampai 4 ribu per harinya,” kata Stefanus, saat ditemui di GWK pada Kamis (25/7) sore.

Bahkan, di periode libur sekolah beberapa waktu yang lalu kunjungan wisatawan ke GWK meningkat sekitar 7 ribu orang per hari.

“Kita meningkatkan di angka 7 ribuan per harinya itu selama dua Minggu. Tapi pada saat selesai (libur sekolah) kembali ke 4 ribuan kunjungan wisatawan,” imbuhnya.

Sementara, untuk kunjungan wisatawan ke GWK didominasi oleh wisatawan domestik sebesar 70 persen dan sisanya atau 30 persen itu wisatawan asing.

“Kita masih domestik menguasai 70 persen. Yang mancanegara 30 persen dan paling tinggi Australia dan kedua adalah India. Kalau domestik masih (didominasi wisatawan) Jakarta,” ujarnya.

Ia juga menyampaikan, bahwa jika dibandingkan sebelum Pandemi Covid-19 angka kunjungan ke GWK itu per hari sekitar 3 ribu dan sekarang melebihi itu mencapai 4 ribu per hari,”Kalau sekarang sudah melebihi dari sebelum Pandemi Covid-19,” ujarnya.

Kemudian, untuk kunjungan wisatawan yang ke dalam Patung GWK per hari mencapai 250 orang wisatawan.

“Kalau yang (dalam) ke patung itu, ada slotnya naik ke lantai 9 dan 23 itu ada safety, batasan, itu satu hari maksimal cuman 280 orang dan bersyukur sampai sekarang 250 per harinya itu sudah mendekati kapasitas maksimal untuk (ke dalam) patung,” ujarnya. (KANALBALI/KAD)
